Mega Man Star Force - Pegasus - for NDS

Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus is a Nintendo DS action role playing game made and published by Capcom in 2007. Many years in the future, humankind has finally found proof of extraterrestrial life, and a space station called Peace is built to make contact. The station vanishes, and every search for it fails. Three years later Geo Stelar, the son of one of the people who were aboard, meets an alien life form from the Planet FM known as Mega. Together they can reach the hidden Wave World that runs beneath everyday technology, and together they become Mega Man.

Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus plays in the vein of Mega Man Battle Network. Every device on Earth uses a wireless network called the Wave World to send data, and by merging with Mega, Geo can step inside it to destroy viruses, repair machines and read secret information left in people's Transer devices. Since Mega is a fugitive, others from the Planet FM keep arriving to cause trouble, which means plenty of fighting. Battles are shown on the top screen from behind Mega Man, and each turn starts with a choice of cards that become your attacks. Later you gain the power of a satellite, and in this version that is Pegasus, whose ice attacks freeze enemies cold.

Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus still wins people over because it treats a handheld game like a proper adventure: a story worth following, a deck worth building and fights that reward quick thinking. The ice powers give this version a cool, defensive feel that fans happily argue about. As one of the three versions of Mega Man Star Force, Pegasus is a natural target for anyone who likes a complete set, and it sits comfortably beside any shelf of Capcom handheld role playing games.
