Now a race of invaders called the Krions has descended on the planet, the people are prisoners, and hope is nearly gone. The Krion Conquest is the story of Francesca answering that second call.

Play is for one player across a run of side scrolling stages. Francesca runs, jumps and fires magic from her wand, slides low to slip past danger, and faces a boss at the end of each stage. The game is often discussed alongside Capcom's Mega Man series, because the way Francesca moves and shoots will feel immediately familiar to anyone who grew up with those games.
